Emerging Technologies Pavilion at NPE

28 October 2008

The latest developments in four emerging technologies that are already helping to determine the future, not just of the plastics industry but of the world's economy and environment will be presented in a new multi-exhibitor pavilion at next year's NPE2009 international plastics exposition in the US.

The Emerging Technologies Pavilion will consist of exhibits and informational stations by companies, government agencies, and research consortia active in sustainability, bioplastics, nanotechnology, and energy. The Society of the Plastics Industry Inc (SPI), producer of the NPE event, is accepting applications from companies and organizations seeking to participate in the pavilion.

DuPont will be the corporate sponsor of the pavilion and will present exhibits or displays in all four technology sectors.

NPE2009 will take place June 22-26, 2009, at Chicago's McCormick Place. A total of 2,000 companies, more than a third of them from outside the US, will exhibit on 93,000 m2 of floorspace.
