The 2007 EFTA Print Awards Entry Form is now available to download from www.efta.co.uk - or a hard copy can be requested by calling the association on +44 (0) 1458 241455, or email Lesley Hide on hiding@efta.co.uk. Closing date for entries is the end of October and judging will take place in November, with all winners notified by Christmas.
The 2007 Gala Dinner and Awards Presentation, hosted again by Roger Black, will be on March 21, 2007 at The Royal Armouries, Leeds, a new venue for the “flexo industry event of the year”. Commenting on the change, Lesley Hide, managing director of the EFTA, says: “The board felt is was time for a change of venue – we had been at The Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, for over 10 years – we were also responding to attendees’ concerns about the escalating costs of using the Hilton Metropole as a venue.”
The Royal Armouries, Leeds, is said to offer plenty of reasonable cost hotel accommodation within a 10 minute walk. EFTA says it will be working with a venue organizer to ensure that those attending the event have the widest possible choice of hotel accommodation that meets their needs. More details of this service will be announced shortly.
In the meantime the EFTA Board want to encourage as many companies as possible to enter the Awards. As Lesley Hide says: "If you do not enter you cannot win”.
