EFIA Print Awards deadline extended

20 December 2010

Due to the continuing severe UK weather situation, the European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA) has extended the original deadline for entries to its annual Print Awards to 5 January 2011.

Several phone calls had bee received at the EFIA office in recent days regarding delayed shipments and closed plants due to the extraordinary weather conditions experienced in many parts of the UK and Europe over the past few weeks.

David Galton, EFIA Chairman, comments: “Despite the difficult delivery situation, over 250 entries have already been received and we want to give the European flexo industry the best opportunity, as always, to show off its capabilities in what has become the industry’s most prestigious print awards competition”.

Judging of the entries will be held on 11-12 January and the EFIA Print Awards Gala Dinner will then be held on 30 March at The Armouries, Leeds.
