New features in EFI's Bestcolor driven Designer Edition proofing software are said to increase efficiency by enabling ‘out-of-the-box printing’ of accurate proofs, and vivid, full colour images. Designer Edition 5.1 also offers improved integration with users' existing applications and working environments. Supporting major industry standards, from ICC to PDF/X, JDF, ISO, and SWOP, Designer Edition 5.1 is said to integrate seamlessly with other illustration, photo and layout applications. It also supports the latest printers from HP and Canon. Also available is an XXL version for wide format printing.
