Advance Agro, a leading Thai pulp and paper manufacturer, has extended its converting capacity by purchasing three cut size lines from ECH Will and Pemco, both members of the Körber PaperLink Group.
The SLK 470 lines comprise three 12-pocket cut size sheeters with ream packaging lines. Each of he ECH Will sheeters will have five unwinds with a reel diameter of 1,800mm, and a semi automatic splice system.
Delivery of the first line is scheduled for the end of 2007. The second and third lines will follow after a six month interval. With the purchase of the three lines, Advance Agro plans to increase its annual production capacity by 390,000t.
Advance Agro senior executive vice president Charnvit Jarusombathi comments: "With the purchase of the ECH Will/Pemco high performance cut size lines we feel we are well prepared for the future".
