ebeam Technologies to demonstrate benefits of innovative curing solutions for packaging at Print4All

1 May 2018

ebeam Technologies, the developer and manufacturer of electron beam (ebeam or EB) solutions will be attending Print4All at booth K11 in hall 18 to promote its latest low energy, high-throughput curing solutions that help printers and converters meet growing customer demand and exceed business objectives. On the booth, attendees will learn about the benefits of the ebeam Core and ebeam Compact systems, which illustrate how ebeam’s innovative platform technology can be harnessed for applications in digital inkjet, flexo and offset printing and package finishing. These solutions are easily integrated into existing print production lines and can help open up new opportunities for printers looking to grow share in the flexible and food packaging markets whilst reducing operational costs and increasing sustainability.

The ebeam Compact is the world’s most compact electron beam inkjet curing solution, enabling inline curing with narrow-web digital inkjet printers, making industrialised EB curing a reality for numerous applications and producing a virtually instantaneous, high gloss, scratch-resistant finish on any color, including metallic. The ebeam Compact 80/400 cures inkjet inks which require no photoinitiators and produce no VOC’s, enabling print businesses to expand and develop significant new revenue streams with mass personalization options and variable printing of indirect food contact materials.

ebeam Technologies will also be promoting the ebeam Core 100/760, a high-throughput solution designed to provide high-quality finishing for packaging produced on an HP Indigo 20000 printing press without lamination. The ebeam Core 100/760 delivers instant ebeam curing for production of indirect food contact packaging and allows HP Indigo 20000 owners to benefit from faster time to market, protected and enhanced artwork and greater sustainability. In addition, the solution can perform Cast & Cure processes to deliver hologram effects that make finished products stand out on store shelves and drive increased engagement with consumers.

“ebeam Technologies is a widely trusted and respected provider of innovative solutions for offset, flexo, and digital processes for packaging products of unrivalled quality. With our ebeam platform technologies, printers can achieve greater efficiency and sustainability, whilst growing revenues through new market opportunities in indirect food contact packaging applications,” said Elsa Callini, Business Development Manager at ebeam Technologies. “Businesses looking to innovate and create value across their production chain can simply plug one of our ebeam solutions into their existing print, packaging and converting lines to realize their sustainability goals, improve product quality and exceed business objectives.”
