DS Smith Plc Proposed Acquisition of Parish Manufacturing, Inc.
DS Smith, a leading provider of corrugated & plastics packaging, supported by paper & recycling operations worldwide, is pleased to announce the proposed acquisition of Parish Manufacturing Inc.
Parish is a USA manufacturer and supplier of bag-in-box systems, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Parish's focus is in bag-in-box and custom packaging for different liquids for the food, beverage, water, food service, and chemical industries.
The acquisition, which is subject to certain customary completion conditions, complements DS Smith's expertise and leading position in the Flexible Packaging and Liquid Dispensing markets under its RapakTM brand. Completion of the proposed acquisition is expected during the first quarter of 2017.
