UK company Elliott Absorbent Products has a new slitter rewinder from Double R Consol that is capable of unwinding at up to 23,000m/hour, to a 1.7m web width on a maximum unwind OD of 1.9m, and rewind of 1.1m OD.
Elliott is a converter and reseller of food papers for the supermarket sector. The new slitter will complement its existing conversion machinery and allow the company to offer a short lead time service to customers requiring absorbent food papers on a narrow reel, rather than a cut pad.
Elliott also offers a short turn-round service for companies requiring slitter rewinding outsourcing and crushed core recovery help within a BRC/IOP Food Approved environment.
