The Sun Automation Group claims that its "pioneering" Corrstream technology will revolutionise printing onto corrugated packaging materials.
The single-pass digital printers are said to make "unrivalled speed and efficiency available for the first time to the European packaging and converting sectors, at lower printing and ownership costs than existing corrugated printers".
Corrstream features include full CMYK colour digital printing without plates; a choice of print widths; graphics to press in hours not days; production runs of any size; and graphic changes from sheet-to-sheet. A data merge capability and mass customisation are also available
