Digital camera to analyze defects

13 March 2008

Procemex, a specialist in filming and analyzing web defects, has developed a completely digital ’intelligent’ camera technology that is aimed at helping operators to detect problems during printing and increase production efficiency.

Procemex Flex, a high frequency camera part of the Procemax-7x system, can be synchronized with the line speed of the folder. The camera allows the operator to analyze folder problems live and in slow motion after the operation.

Procemex Flex works at a resolution of 1.3 mega pixel at up to 500 images per second. It allows visualization in greyscale and in colour.

Procemex will be exhibiting at drupa 2008 within PrintCity in hall 6.
