Poole based digital label printer Harkwell Labels is the first company in the UK to invest in AB Graphic International's new Omega Digicon Series 3 finishing line.
Fully automatic setup for scissor slitting knives plus higher speed and accuracy are among the Digicon 3's numerous features to give greater flexibility and speed to Harkwell's finishing process. It also has an inline delaminating and re-laminating system that allows for adhesive printing and up to three page peel and reseal - all produced at high speed in a single pass.
The addition of the Digicon Series 3 to Harkwell's existing finishing technology increases the company's capacity by more than 40%, completing the final stage of a £1 million plus investment during 2014 that also included the addition of a second digital label printing press.
