New machines introduced by Dienes for grinding and polishing all kinds of circular knives are said to be especially suitable for regrinding the top and bottom knives of slitters and sheeters. They are designed for circular knives of up to 300mm diameter. With a rigid steel construction and modular design, they are equipped with a slewable workpiece and tool spindle head, both frequency controlled. A coolant supply is also provided. Dienes says the machines are intended for use by small and medium sized companies, with ease of operation a key feature.
