Diecutter to meet increased demand

22 December 2011

UK-based CBS Packaging has invested in a Bobst Vision 160 diecutter to help cope with increased demand for its paper and board products. The machine has gone into the company’s new, 160,000ft² factory in West Bromwich, where it has also installed a BHS corrugator, making CBS a fully integrated corrugated packaging producer..

Jitha Singh, managing director of CBS, says: “We have seen the demand for diecut boxes increase every year. To make sure that we could keep up with this growth we needed to invest in a highly productive machine that would deliver the quality we are known for. We decided that the Bobst was the only machine that would deliver what we wanted.”

The Vision 160 offers high quality flatbed diecutting on materials ranging from nano and micro-flutes to double-wall and litho-laminated. It achieves running speeds of up to 4,500 sheets/hour, with makeready in under 10min.
