Dettmer Verpackungen has switched to digital technology in its in-house plate production operation. The German flexible packaging and packaging films specialist has invested in the new digital HelioFlex F1200 flexo imagesetter, which was unveiled by Hell at drupa 2004.
Dettmer produces PE films in various mono and coex grades in its factory at Lohne. Annual production is of approximately 22,000t, and some 400M linear metres of film are printed each year in up to 10 colours on eight presses.
