South American flexible packaging converter Plastilene has successfully completed a two-month trial of automatic print defect detection on three BST Premius digital inspection systems installed on W & H Flexo presses at its production facility in Bogotá, Colombia.
Plant manager Alejandro Defrancisco comments: “The trial showed that Premius digital with automatic print defect detection is an extremely effective tool for managing print quality on press. It contributes significantly to better print quality, reduced waste and improved production efficiencies, while allowing us to deliver the very best possible quality product to our customers on a daily basis.”
