Aristocrat is a new designer collection of uncoated label papers in a variety of textures and shades from Curtis Fine Papers. Specialist options available include the company’s Impress range and selfadhesive papers developed in collaboration with Avery Dennison, also recycled and watermarked papers.
Curtis Impress is a new thermo-reactive paper in Ice White Wove 90g/m2 that is said to produce “stunning and original translucent effects” under application of heat and pressure. Watermarked papers in the Aristocrat collection include Antique Laid, Weave and Wild Laid. 100% Recycled Wove has an earthy, flecked surface effect and is said to be ideal for organic products.
Other features of Aristocrat papers include wet strength and alkali resistance. They are suitable for a range of printing techniques including flexo, offset, screen, foil blocking, bronzing, and embossing. The papers are available as wet glue options from stock and with selfadhesive reels on a slit-to-order basis available on a selection of items.
