CPP Expo secures ACIMGA support

23 May 2007

ACIMGA, the Italian Manufacturers’ Association for the Graphic, Converting and Paper Industry, and the Gravure Association of America have joined the associations that will participate in the co-located industry events of CPP Expo, Pack Expo, and Process Expo, in October 15-17, 2007, at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

ACIMGA’s presence reinforces its support of the Italian manufacturers who have already confirmed participation in CPP Expo. The association will work with show organizer HA Bruno to promoting the event and act as a conduit of information for its supplier membership. Future plans include expanding ACIMGA’s role to include a country pavilion that could attract many Italian manufacturers as exhibitors in 2008 who were unable to participate on their own in previously.

The GAA will participate in CPP Expo, and have member companies featured in the PMMI’s Showcase of Packaging Innovations.

Leo Nadolske, president of CPP Expo, comments: “GAA represents a huge package printing contingent, while ACIMGA expands our penetration into the European converting and package printing arena. Our plans are to continue increasing our reach into all aspects of converting, as well as all end-user segments that will ensure success for our participating manufacturers and suppliers.”

ACIMGA and GAA join a number of other associations that are now supporting the co-located events of CPP-Pack-Process Expos. They include the AICC, AIMCAL, CEMA, FPA, and PLGA.
