CPP Expo has ‘positive view of future’

14 November 2006

“Tens of thousands of industry professionals attended a supply chain event of grand proportions,” claims HA Bruno, organizer of CPP Expo, which took place in Chicago at the end of October along with Pack Expo International, and Process Expo. “While CPP Expo focused exclusively on the converting/package printing aspect, it was clear that this type of efficient and effective industry forum as part of a larger whole is on its way to becoming the leading converting exclusive event,” the company asserts.

It says 52 per cent of the CPP Expo exhibitors have reserved space in the next events - on October 15-17, next year, in Las Vegas, and back in Chicago, during November 9-13, 2008. Both events will again partner and co-locate with Pack Expo and Process Expo.

“This response is extremely encouraging,” said president of CPP Expo Leo Nadolske. “The converting industry has been approaching tradeshows with caution, but confirming participation now states loudly and clearly the confidence the suppliers have in CPP Expo – an event that unequivocally brings the supply chain together.”

Participating exhibitor Giancarlo Caimmi, of Nordemccanica, agreed: “We have been very pleased with the show and quality of attendees. We have sold machines to South American companies, Korea, Japan, and Australia – and we got leads for market niches that we were very surprised to see! We love the idea of the marriage of CPP Expo and Pack Expo International in the same venue.”
