Corona control improved

9 March 2009

A new touchscreen PLC based interface is now available for the Compak 9000 power generator from Enercon Industries. The new design is claimed to save converters and extruders time and money with installation whilst providing advanced corona treating process control.

Standard pre-programmed options include watt density control, proportional speed control, station diagnostics and extensive fault logging. Enercon can also custom program customer specified options such as exhaust blower control and single button system start-up.

All options are incorporated through a single interface, simplifying installation and operation. Connecting to a remote control network is also said to be easy, as the system supports a wide variety of communication protocols.
