Converting Today launches online Americas edition

21 November 2011

Converting Today is expanding into the Americas with the launch of a twice-yearly digital edition, which will be emailed to approximately 8,500 converters in the region.

Converting Today Americas will be targeted at the specific needs of its readership through informed editorial coverage of new converting technologies, materials and machinery. It will aim to help America’s converters grow and develop their businesses and deliver cost effective solutions to their customers.

Although many packaging companies, converters, and their customers in North, South and Central America are still under the cloud of the recession, industry statistics suggest that in the next 12 months, the majority intend to increase their budget and make investments in the face of continued pressure to remain competitive, increase profits and lighten the environmental impact of their production processes. Moves by companies to control costs, develop new products, enter new markets, and focus on sales innovation will further drive up packaging and converting procurement spending across this billon dollar market.

Converting Today’s readers in the Americas will be looking for the information on the latest solutions to meet these customers’ requirements as competition intensifies for brand owners to bring their products to market more quickly.

For over 35 years, Converting Today has been keeping thousands of key converting industry professionals in Europe up-to-date on a daily basis, through its printed magazine and website. Now, with the launch of Converting Today Americas in digital format, thousands of readers in the Americas will be kept up to date – quickly and instantly via email, whether in the office or on the move.

The first issue of Converting Today Americas is scheduled for March 2012.
