The UK's first EasyFairs Packaging Innovations show takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, on April 13-14. The easyFairs events are said to bring specialized trade shows to the heart of regional markets – "where users and suppliers meet personally, with time and value of equal priority".
In co-operation with the Faraday Packaging Partnership, the UK show will feature a free-of-charge learnShop programme offering a combination of practical workshops, case studies and presentations "on winning business, key trends and practises". Day one will cover RFID, Materials Innovation, and Communication and Design, with day two concentrating on Intelligent Packaging, Consumers and Design, and Sustainability.
Peter Heath, managing director, easyFairs UK, says: "There are definitely no sales pitches. Instead, each learnShop covers a specific strategic topic that will really help visitors understand what is possible now and how technology in packaging will impact the future".
