New from Pillar Technologies is a single solution for combined control of the corona treating power supply and the corona station. The TFC Total Functional Control option allows the user to monitor the station and all safety interlocks, retract and engage the electrodes and nip rolls, and start and stop the blower. The control panel gives basic trouble-shooting assistance on a touchscreen display that can be located anywhere.
This "cost effective" option replaces remote control packages, diagnostic packages, and cumbersome mechanical switches, the company claims.
