6 June 2014

The sale of a flexo printer Comexi Flexo F2 MP press to packaging printer TOM in Siberia marks the first implementation of the Spanish group's F2 platform in Russia.

TOM general manager Nikolay Babkin acknowledges: "With the acquisition of the Flexo F2 MP, our response to the customer will be faster, more reliable and secure. With this flexo machine, Comexi meets the highest quality standards."

The MP is the "maximum productivity" version of the F2 platform, with a top speed of 500m/min, and PC mandrels and carbon fibre anilox providing maximum rigidity. It also offers automatic ink temperature control and automatic viscosity control, and reinforced drying between colours for large applications in white.

The Comexi Flexo F2 will print widths from 1,270-1,470mm in 8 colours and increments up to 850mm. The range now includes the Flexo F2 WB, which offers the possibility of water based printing.
