The Sun Chemical site at Yate, in the UK, was visited by ceo Henri Dyner and recently appointed group president Wes Lucas. They gave their full backing to the European Colour Programme, which offers substantial benefits to customers, not only in flexible packaging but across all printing processes.
With its Imagecheck on-screen colour communication system, supported by the PressChek 2000 spectrophotometer for colour control, Sun claims to offer for the first time the ability to communicate and produce accurate colour standards on a global basis. Field trials are currently under way, and the programme will be demonstrated at Ipex in April 2002.
