Creo colour servers from Kodak’s Print On-Demand Solutions Group now support the Pantone Goe system, enabling users to automatically match a more extensive spot colour collection for CMYK output produced with digital presses.
Kodak says the servers’ support of the Goe system will allow print service providers to save time and money associated with incorrect spot colour output.
The 2,058 new colours in the Goe system are arranged in an intuitive, chromatic order for easy, precise, cross-media colour selection and specification. The system includes modern tools and interactive software to drive collaboration and improve versatility.
Developed for production environments, the Creo colour servers technology offers automated colour management tools to adjust for achievement of brand critical colour match. It is said to enable seamless integration with any workflow or press, ease of use and flexibility through an intuitive graphical user interface, and maximum utilisation of press capacity.
