Coating cost cutter

GE's UV9200* epoxysilicone is claimed to be among the lowest viscosity reactive silicones available for radiation cure coating applications. Its low viscosity is said to permit even deposition at reduced coat weight, reducing materials costs and enabling the use of existing equipment without the need for expensive upgrades.

According to GE, the non volatile UV9200 silicone may also improve the manufacture of release films, where its excellent flowout performance delivers good coverage with low coat weight. Used in epoxysilicone formulas, it can also help improve optical clarity in clear films.
