CMM initiatives to cut exhibitors costs

25 June 2004

To help converting machinery and materials suppliers reduce costs and make it easier to bring machinery to CMM International (April 18-21, 2005), the organizer has developed several initiatives designed to save exhibitors of all sizes thousands of dollars.

For the larger exhibitors, CMM and Freeman Companies have created a "Machinery Incentive Package" that offers any 2003 exhibitor who reserves at least a 2,000ft2 booth and brings 30,000 lb of freight a special price of $18.50/ft2 for the 2005 show. This represents a savings of close to $8/ft2 and translates into an overall savings of approximately $14,000 for a company with a 40x50ft booth. Show management says this price is significantly lower than what any other converting shows are offering.

In addition, smaller exhibitors will be offered new exhibitor packages with up to 38 per cent price reductions.

CMM is also working with several associations (FTA, AIMCAL, PLGA, CONLATINGRAF and RADTECH) to feature process focused pavilions that will save their members who exhibit in the pavilions an additional 10 per cent.
