ETI claims to be the first company to launch a high speed hotmelt clean edge pattern adhesive unit. The patent pending unit can be retrofitted on any of the Canadian manufacturer’s existing Cohesio machines.
This “very simple” process is said to allow variable repeat from 16-24 inch with automatic register and very accurate pre-register to minimize wastage. It also enables full web coating at 400ft/min with accurate coat weight control, according to ETI, enabling label converters to produce adhesive spots, coupons and special adhesive forms, including laser sheets.
ETI has already sold several units to customers in Germany, France and Japan.
