Interbobbin, of Alva, UK, has ordered a slitter rewinder from WT Wickeltechnik to process cigarette tipping papers. WT has already delivered several machines for this application to the Far East.
The model WFZA1 60125 is a turret slitter with automatic cut-off and transfer of the webs onto the new cores. Interbobbin has specified a 1,250mm working width, capable of taking a 1,000mm diameter unwind roll and slitting down to 28mm, with finished roll diameters up to 600mm. Top speed is 600m/min.
