Chosen for cheese

Amcor FibreLite with Amcor Reclose top web lidding material was used for The Cheese Co's launch of a new range of retailer own label sliced Farmhouse cheese in the UK. Produced by Amcor Flexibles Lund, Sweden, FibreLite is a non woven base web laminated to APET/PE or PVC/PE, which "captures the traditional look and feel of paper and offers excellent product differentiation". Amcor's Reclose technology gives the packs the added consumer convenience of recloseability.

For its new range of individual cheese portion packs, The Cheese Co selected easy open, easy tear Amcor TearStick stickpacks from Amcor Flexibles Colodense in the UK. It also uses EasyPack from AF Speed, in France, for blocked cheese and FlexCan, produced by AF Venus in the UK, for grated cheese. The EasyPack system combines a novel pack configuration with special peelable materials to give the convenience of easy opening and reclosure. FlexCan is an easy open and recloseable stand-up flexible container.
