BST offers an entry level video web inspection system with the fully digital PowerScope 4000. Simplicity of operation is promised thanks to a rotatable and removable keyboard. The system comes with motorised camera movement and a manually operated version is also available.
The PC based Super HandyScan 4000 (15.04 cm x 8.07 cm) and ProScan 4000 (15 cm x 11.25 cm) systems use 3Chip technology. They feature a ‘Super Lens’ function to detect ‘pin-cushion’ and unwanted colour convergence. Both systems offer picture quality up to 300 dpi.
These new BST print inspection devices work with a single touchscreen monitor, so all monitoring and management functions can occur from a centralised station. Other features include a virtual repeat function, split screen overviews, position memory and numerous zoom options.
Optional extras include additional flashes and software upgrades, such as colour comparison and Smart Register. Upgrade to the high end Premius digital print management system is also possible.
