Walki Wisa is building a €6M converting plant in China. Located at Jiangsu Changshu, some 100km from Shanghai, it will produce industrial wrapping materials for the paper industry, and converted papers for the packaging industry. Production is scheduled to start during the first quarter of 2006. Walki Wisa, part of UPM's Converting Division, has had a printing unit in Shanghai since 2002.
