Certified paper faces from UPM Raflatac

14 December 2012

In its commitment to source paper products from sustainably managed forests, UPM Raflatac has replaced its Raflacoat Plus label paper for prime product labelling with PEFC Raflacoat Plus in all applications. PEFC Raflacoat Plus is said to retain the same exceptional mid-gloss standards, with high opacity and contrast supporting fine print detail for branding and product decoration. It is also available with the thin and recyclable ProLiner PP30 backing.

Also new are PEFC Raflacoat Opti - a “cost-efficient option” for printing digitally with HP Indigo, and the FSC certified phenol-free thermal papers Thermal Eco BPAF FMC and Thermal Eco TPF FMC. The new FSC certified label faces Fleur de Coton White WSA FMC and Fleur de Coton Ivoire WSA FMC offer a high quality textured look for wine labelling.

UPM promotes all credible forest certification systems including the two major international schemes: FSC, the Forest Stewardship Council, and PEFC, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes.
