The shareholders of Reno De Medici have approved the proposed merger with Cascades SA‘s recycled boxboard business. The transaction is expected to be completed at the beginning of January, 2008, subject to approval by the appropriate authorities. The planned combination will have an annual capacity of more that 1,100kt.
