Carint will present a new concept of flexo presses in 8 and 10 colour configuration during this year’s drupa, which is being held from May 29-June 11, 2008.
“In the past decade,” says the Italian manufacturer, flexographic printing has become a professional printing technique, not only dependent on the skills of press operators, as in the past, but also on the synergy between man and machine.”
In order to cater to this growing market, the company has further developed its gearless Cyberflex range. The newly engineered 10 colour compact Cyberflex 2010 will join the compact Cyberflex 1708 model, part of the 8 CI gearless series.
These gearless presses, marked as HS (High Speed), are said to offer the reliability of the Cyberflex range, a new level of automation with advanced control systems and a highly developed mechanical configuration. The new press prints at 350mm at printing widths of 1,000-1,400mm.
Carint has already delivered the first press with more installations planned this spring. The company will be present in Hall 10, stand 10A24 at drupa 2008.
