A management buy-in has been completed at UK based Beswick Paper Group by former Premier Paper managing director Graham Griffiths. The buy-in, for an undisclosed sum, covers three companies within the Beswick Paper Group - FJ Beswick (Paper), FJ Beswick (Cotswolds), and FJ Beswick (Northampton).
The corporate finance team at accountants and business advisors PKF Birmingham advised Graham Griffiths, whose partner in the deal was former colleague and financial director of Fyne Papers Courtney Candler, who was for many years financial director of Arjo UK Merchants. Former Premier Paper commercial director Rob Viner also joins them at the £37M turnover business, which employs around 150 staff and operates branches in Birmingham, Northampton, Cheltenham, Crewe, Leicester, Hertford and Newport.
Graham Griffiths comments: "We have purchased Beswick as a vehicle for future growth. At present it provides an extensive regional paper merchants' service from north London to south Manchester, and from this base it is our intention to build a company which can serve the whole of the UK."
