Wolfgang Kuester, company co-founder and long-time CEO of BST International, has bade farewell to his colleagues and friends at a farewell party in Bad Oeynhausen, Germany. The event, attended by some 300 guests, marked the end of Mr Kuester’s professional relationship with BST that has lasted nearly 33 years.
As one of the founders of BST International, a leading manufacturer of quality assurance systems for the web processing industry, Wolfgang Kuester was involved with the company since its inception in 1978. He has held a number of positions, including technical manager, sales manager and CEO from 1990 to 2010.
He retired from active participation on BST International’s executive board on February 1 2010, but had continued to remain connected with the company. His successor as CEO is Percy Dengler.
