Private investment firm Apollo Management is to acquire certain businesses and product lines in Eastman Chemical's coatings, adhesives, specialty polymers and inks segment for $215M.

The Packaging and Printing Division of ITC is the first Indian printer to install a Martin MBX automatic butt splicer. Fitted on an existing Aquaflex in-line press at ITC, the MBX unwinds and splices a web 476mm wide, on rolls up to 1,830mm in diameter and at speeds to 150m/min.
