Brückner clinches major Chinese contract

World market leader for film stretching lines Brückner and Jiangyin Shenda Group, one of China's leading film producers, have signed a key contract for a new BOPET film production project. It will enable Shenda to expand BOPET capacity from 20,000t to 60,000t/year. The contract was signed in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing by Brückner`s coo Ludwig Eckart and Shenda chairman Zhang Guo Ping. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao and German Chancellor Gerhard Schröder attended the ceremony.

Since 1962, Chinese companies have invested about €1 billion in over 100 Brückner lines.
