Brückner breaks into Russian BOPP film market

A complete turnkey BOPP plant is to be supplied by Brückner to Russian film producer OAO Novatek. Moscow based Novatek will set up the new film plant in Nowokujbyschew/Samara.

The turnkey project will include a complete state-of-the-art BOPP stretching line with a working width of 8.2m and an annual output of 25,500t. Peripheral equipment such as slitters, metallizers, recycling plant will also be supplied with all associated utilities, buildings and training.

Novatek will use the plant to produce metallized film, high shrinkage tobacco packaging film, adhesive tapes and numerous other opaque, plain and co-extruded films to meet the growing demand for packaging material in Russia.

Brückner has set up a team of specialists, concentrating on the specific needs of the emerging Russian market and the relevant participants.
