Specialist carton producer Boxes Prestige has ordered two high specification 7-unit Roland 700 B1-format presses with dedicated coater and UV drying capabilities.
One of the machines is to be installed at the company’s Earls Barton, UK, site, and the other is destined for the Boxes Prestige Poland facility in Lublin. Both presses are equipped for fast makeready and will be used to produce cartons for toiletries and cosmetics, confectionery, healthcare, and premium drinks.
The new press in the UK will replace an existing Mitsubishi B1 format machine, which will be transferred to one of the company’s other sites. The Polish investment follows the announcement of a 50 per cent increase in manufacturing capability at Boxes Prestige Poland.
