Bossert adds another Alpha

26 August 2010

German label specialist Bossert has installed another Edale Alpha narrow web printing and converting press at its Birkenfeld factory. The new machine, a 5-colour UV flexo press, is needed to meet demand following Bossert’s take-over by Kling last year, as both companies are now introducing new products and services.

Kling CEO Markus Baechtold says: “We needed higher print quality, improved productivity and additional features such as hotfoiling, which is very important in our industry”.

An important factor in his decision to purchase an Alpha was the recent development of the Alpha-Multi. This existing Edale Alpha users to upgrade their machines with a second stack, allowing companies to print up to nine colours in a footprint of just 5m2.
