Following its recent appointment as a main distributor for Boschert, UK based tension control specialist Motion Drives and Controls has launched a safety chuck inspection and certification service that aims to ensure and validate the safe operation of the German manufacturer's products for web processing applications.
The service comprises a safety inspection where factory trained staff carry out a complete assessment of the condition of the safety or sliding chuck at the customer's site. If required, damaged or worn components can be repaired or replaced and the customer retains a traceable inspection certificate, logged against the chuck description with its own exclusive reference number.
To ensure a fast turnaround for the new service, MD&C has invested in a full stock of components and accessories in addition to complete Boschert safety and sliding chucks in all commonly specified sizes.
Customers may also return product back to MD&C for repair and certification.
