Bidirectional operating mode for label production

25 September 2013

Rotocontrol's new RSP 440H high-end pharmaceutical inspection machine offers bidirectional operating mode and the "revolutionary" capability of running production of both booklet and conventional labels.

The RSP 440H is said to have features that conform to a wide range of stringent industrial requirements, including pharmaceutical compliance demands. Built for customers who prefer a horizontal inspection configuration, its features includes an unwind stand for rolls up to 1.2m diameter, a 100% inspection system, a high speed dynamic buffer, a fully automated knife positioning system, a secure multi-lane counting system for pharmaceutical labels - and a complete security system before the rewind.

Rotocontrol managing director Marco Aengenvoort reveals: "We invited key pharmaceutical label producers from around the world to our manufacturing headquarters to evaluate the RSP 440H. Their feedback was that it is the fastest and most operator-friendly machine they have ever seen."
