The Ultra ISC tension transducer directly outputs a +/- 10 VDC signal and includes an Integrated Signal Conditioner (ISC) embedded directly in the loadcells.
This is said to eliminate the hardware costs of a separate amplifier; free up panel space; reduce the amount of documentation drawings; reduce wiring costs; and eliminate amplifier set-up and calibration. It also has the ability to bring a signal directly to the local I/O on Network and improves the diagnostic and balance capability with loadcells scaled in the controller.
