Benson buys Bobst

27 May 2011

UK packaging manufacturer the Benson Group has ordered two Bobst Expertcut 106PER blank separating diecutters: one for its Bardon factory and one for its Gateshead plant, to meet increased demand for diecut products. Both machines will be delivered in June

The order follows the recent installation of new Bobst Masterfold gluers, ordered at IPEX 2010, at Gateshead and Newcastle plant.

The Expertcut 106PER is a 9,000 sheet/hour diecutter delivering fully blanked and piled cartons, with an in-built option of full sheet delivery. The machine features Bobst’s Power Register system, which is said to ensure highly accurate dynamic registration between the actual print on the sheet and the diecutting tools.
