Bekaert makes more of the Miniflex

17 October 2007

In response to a request from a Swedish OEM customer who manufactures flexo machines for corrugated board, French non contact drying specialist Bekaert has introduced a further development of its Miniflex IR Cassette.

MiniFlex 2 is designed for machines that do not require the same level of power as the original Minflex. As a result, the cost of the new version is said to be some 30 per cent lower. It can be delivered as a complete drying system including a standard electrical cabinet with automatic process control and ventilation system.

Designed specifically for “space limited” machines, both the Miniflex and Miniflex 2 systems are of compact, modular design offering fast start-up and step-less power control. Power can be regulated by means of temperature or machine speed and with options to allow for web width, automation and ventilation, almost any drying application can be met.

The first Miniflex 2 installation is reported to be running smoothly at a corrugating plant in Italy.
