Baker bags digital print prize

16 February 2009

A sticker produced by Baker Self Adhesive Labels for customised books has won the ‘Adding Value’ Award in a competition run by Digital Printer. The London based company scooped the award with the Moo.com stickers it prints on one of two 7-colour HP Indigo WS4500 and WS4050 digital presses in 3,500 runs on a white gloss PVC substrate and are then laminated with polypropylene for durability.

“This award is the result of companies working together on new applications and demonstrates the versatility and quality of digital printing”, says Mmanaging director Steve Baker. “Moo.com uses innovative web to print technology and sends us the variable data from its online library, PrintFinity. The stickers are then printed and die cut and delivered to Moo.com for subsequent conversion into personalised books for its customers.”
