An “easy to integrate” self contained cutting package, Azco’s Smartknife has been designed to bridge the gap between the traditional guillotine knife and the rotary knife.
The Smartknife is pneumatically operated, with an advanced dura-blade design and upgraded hardware for a longer life. Simple installation (it is simply bolted on), quiet operation and low maintenance are promised to the user. Equipped with a microprocessor and complete control package, the knife is claimed to achieve the high speeds of a rotary knife - up to 400 cuts/min - at a fraction of the cost.
