AVT reinforces Polystar partnership

9 March 2007

AVT has received an order for seven automatic inspection systems from Canadian packaging group Polystar, in Montréal. They will join the eight AVT systems already used by Polystar, which has six packaging companies and nine printing/converting facilities, serving customers such as JCPenney, Scott Paper, McCain, Springs, and Cascades.

“We have a long term partnership with AVT that goes back to 2001,” says Hershey Friedman, Polystar Group founder and president. “Over the years, we’ve been experiencing major waste reduction and quality improvement as a result of using their systems.”

AVT claims to have more than 1,500 print inspection systems installed worldwide.
